Are you totally vegan? Absolutely. Always and forever.
What are your hours? Tuesday 5pm-9pm Wednesday & Thursday 5pm - 9pm Friday 11am - 10pm Saturday Brunch 10am - 3pm, lunch menu & full bar 3pm - 5pm, Dinner 5pm - 10pm Sunday Brunch 10am - 3pm, lunch menu & full bar 3pm - 5pm, Dinner 5pm - 9pm
Do you take reservations? We do! Click here to make a reservation. For parties of 8 or more, email us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to accommodate you.
Please note that reservations are not required and we can usually get your party in at a zero to minimal wait and have two lovely waiting areas in case we are on a wait.
For special events and holidays, we do encourage reservations of all sizes; please email [email protected] and we'll be happy to accommodate you.
Why don't you answer your phone? We actually do not have a phone; we use an SMS text function to communicate with guests with reservations. The acoustics of our building would make a landline phone very difficult to answer during service. The phone number listed online leads to a message center that cannot receive voicemails and will advise you how to contact us with the information for which you are seeking.
Do you have a full bar? We have a beautiful, fully stocked vegan liquor, wine, draft and bottled/canned beer bar. We have a rotating special cocktail menu and a large selection of amazing wines, including white wines, red wines, natural and pet-nat wines.
What are your rules about bringing outside desserts and wine? We only allow cakes from Gabby Bakes, Curious Cat Bakery and Valhalla Bakery. We charge a $4/slice cake cutting fee, which includes full cake cutting, plates, utensils and refrigerated storage while you enjoy your meal. If you decide you are not interested in those services but still wish to bring an outside dessert, the cake cutting fee will still apply. If you would like to consult with our in-house pastry chef, please email [email protected]. We have an excellent selection of carefully chosen wines, but if you insist on bringing your own wine, we do require that it is vegan (check Barnivore.com or contact the winery itself), and we do charge a $25 corkage fee.
Do you have a children's menu and accommodations ? Good Intentions was thoughtfully curated to be a restaurant that leaves patrons reminiscing over the complete experience of dining in our space. Whether you join us for a date night, to celebrate an occasion, or simply to spend time with your friends enjoying an innovative, all-vegan menu, we want you to immerse yourself in our atmosphere and ambience. Well-behaved children are always welcome, but we do not offer booster seats or high chairs. We've included a changing table in our first bathroom, and we can (secret menu) make buttered noodles or a plain burger with fries available during meal service. Our goal is to always provide the best service to the patrons who make the vision and mission of Goodies possible.
What allergens are present at Good Intentions? We use soy, tree nuts, and gluten in our kitchen. Obviously, as a vegan restaurant, we do not keep any shellfish, eggs, or dairy on-site. We do not keep peanuts in the restaurant as one of our head chefs is very allergic. We have a lot of gluten-friendly options available on our menu that come as-is, as well as plenty of menu items that have an option to be made gluten-friendly. We use the term gluten-friendly rather than gluten-free because we make our own seitan and other items that use flour on premises. We do our best to limit cross contamination, but we do not recommend our restaurant for those with celiac disease or extremely serious nut allergies. We do not have anything that is soy free.
What did Good Intentions building used to be? This Quonset hut used to be a two-story storage facility for the Vitale Brothers. Prior to that we've heard (but not been able to verify) that it may have been a roller rink at some point, and we definitely know that someone used to throw rave parties in here in the 90s.
Who owns Good Intentions? Good Intentions aka Goodies is a collaboration between the owners of Black Radish Grocer, Golden Dinosaurs and Nah Dogs.
Are there any future plans for lunch or hour changes? We do hope to expand our hours and create a late night menu, but the process takes a lot of time and effort. We currently only do daytime service Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Do you have any outdoor seating? We're hoping to obtain a sidewalk cafe permit in the near future with long term plans of adding a larger patio to the west of our building.
Do you allow pets at Good Intentions? Our food service license only allows service animals at this time. We will hopefully be allowed to allow non-service animals in our outdoor space once we've obtained our cafe seating permit.
Do you cater or rent out the space? While nothing is off the table completely, we don't have a catering program in place. However, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] if you are looking for a catering option or to potentially rent the space for a special event.
Do you have a service industry night? Every Sunday from 5pm-9pm! We require a paystub or current scheduling app.
Are you hiring? We're always looking for fantastic team members, so if you are interested, please send us your resume to [email protected] and we'll reach out if you seem like the right person for the job! Or on the off chance we aren't hiring, we will keep your resume on file and contact you for any future positions that may become available.
Do you sell gift cards? We sell them both online and in person at our host stand!
Do you sell to-go food or delivery? Yep, online ordering is up and operating! We have delivery available via DoorDash.
